2K Games Partners with NVIDIA to bring PhysX and 3D Vision to Mafia® II for Windows PC24.05.2010

2K Games have announced a partnership with NVIDIA to bring NVIDIA PhysX® technology to all versions of Mafia® II, the epic mobster crime drama coming to the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC

As an added extra the Windows PC version will feature a thorough integration of NVIDIA's PhysX and 3D Vision technology. Mafia II will be the first Windows PC game to utilise the NVIDIA APEX clothing module creating dynamic clothing that moves and responds to the surrounding environment.

Gamers will also benefit from NVIDIA's APEX technology which makes in game destructible environments more detailed and realistic when encountering gunfire and explosions.

Mafia II for Windows PC will also be playable in full stereoscopic 3D, courtesy of NVIDIA 3D Vision* technology. Players can combine NVIDIA's high tech wireless glasses and advanced software to view Mafia II in 3D to create a new level of depth and detail to the game.
